An Ilfracombe tattooist has warned of the dangers associated with the body art having seen many customers in need of "cover-up" work after getting a tattoo done elsewhere. Tony Laurenson, of "14 Tattooing" in Marlborough Road, said that tattoos are unlike other forms of self-expression, such as make-up, clothing and hairstyle -
and he warned that they could lead to infection, allergic reactions, scarring and exposure to
life-threatening blood-borne infections if not performed by a licensed professional...
